Yahoo vraagt om mijn inloggegevens

Een aantal weken geleden kreeg ik een mailtje van Yahoo met de vraag om mijn accountgegevens in te vullen omdat ze hun servers aan het opschonen zijn. Ze zullen wel de inactieve accounts willen verwijderen.
Maar ik vind het zo raar dat ze om je wachtwoord vragen. Ik dacht altijd dat ze dat nooit en te nimmer doen. Ik heb een aantal weken geleden dus niets gedaan met dat mailtje maar nu krijg ik een bericht dat als ik niet binnen twee weken reageer dat ze mijn account opheffen.
Het wordt ook als een bericht gemaild en niet tijdens het inloggen van je gevraagd. Dat vind ik ook al zo raar want iedereen kan een mailtje fabriceren. Wie heeft ook zo' n bericht ontvangen en wat heb je ermee gedaan? Kan ik mijn gegevens invullen of wat raden jullie me aan?

securing our server. During this process, accounts which are
not manually verified by us will be deleted, Please confirm and
submit your login information for manual verification by one of
our customer care agents.

•Report the email to Yahoo!. We want to know what you've received so we can investigate.
•Don't click any links on the email if you are uncertain about any "official" email you've received. Het beste kun je deze binnengekomen mailtjes bewaren en desgewenst opslaan op een schijfje. Ga dan naar een internetcafé en stuur deze berichtjes naar Yahoo zelf. Via de website vind je wel een correct e-mail adres. Yahoo zal wellicht heel blij zijn met jouw informatie.
Ikzelf heb ook Yahoo en nog nooit zulke mail gehad.
Kun je nog achterhalen wie daadwerkelijk jou dit mailtje gestuurd heeft?
