Om veiligheidsredenen is het wijs aan te nemen dat zwanger worden van voorvocht mogelijk is. Maar eigenlijk is dit een niet goed beantwoorde kwestie. Er zijn mensen die absoluut niet geloven dat je zwanger kunt worden van voorvocht, behalve als je twee maal achter elkaar seks hebt en de man is al een keer klaargekomen (en er dus nog achtergebleven spermatocyten vlak bij de uitgang zijn). Anderzijds zijn er mensen die bij hoog en bij laag beweren dat er echt niets anders is gebeurd en de man niet heeft geëjaculeerd, terwijl de vrouw toch zwanger is geworden.

Ik heb ook even gezocht op een tegengeluid. Uit het wetenschappelijke artikel "Male Contraception without prescription -- A reevaluation of the Condom and Coitus Interruptus" van het National Center for Biotechnology Information:quote:Most authors on the subject of coitus interruptus allude to the possibility of its failure as a contraceptive due to the presence of spermatozoa in the lubricative pre-ejaculatory fluids that often ooze from the penis in response to sexual stimulation.
Actual counts of sperm in these secretions do not appear in the literature. As mentioned, our observations of samples of preejaculatory fluid from 10 men revealed no sperm. Since it is possible, however, that the lubricating fluid may contain spermatozoa after a recent ejaculation, it has been suggested
that between multiple acts of intercourse there should be urination to flush out spermatozoa.
