Maar idd, waarom is het voor Britse onderzoekers opeens wel mogelijk in no time om iets te vinden? en zo dichtbij? Eerder met speurhonden en nog verse sporen niet, zou je zeggen? Misschien is ze een tijd verborgen gehouden of zo, daar, je weet niet wat voor kuil, hoe groot, als dat afgedekt was met stalen plaat?



Vind het wel bizar als het nu opeens alsnog wordt opgelost (werd tijd ook, na al die onzekerheid)..

De ouders van Madeleine waren uit eten in de tapasbar van het vakantiecomplex met een paar vrienden en lieten hun drie kinderen - Madeleine en een jongere tweeling - in het appartement slapen. Ze dachten dat dit geen kwaad kon, omdat het appartement van de familie McCann goed in het zicht lag (dit bleek later niet zo te zijn, enkel de bovenzijde van de terrasdeur was zichtbaar). Bovendien gingen de ouders, Gerry en Kate McCann, regelmatig kijken. De eerste keer ging vader McCann. Toen was er nog niets aan de hand. Bij de tweede keer ging een vriend kijken die aangaf dat alles in orde was maar hij bleek achteraf alleen Amelie en Sean, het broertje en zusje van Madeleine te hebben gezien. Toen Kate voor de derde keer ging, was er geen spoor van Maddie te bekennen. Na de eerste dagen bleek de verdwijning vooral in Portugal en Engeland dagelijks voorpaginanieuws te zijn, en pas daarna kreeg de zaak internationale media-aandacht in de hoop Madeleine te vinden. De ouders van Madeleine hebben vanaf het eerste uur 'ontvoering' geschreeuwd. Als bewijs hiervoor haalden ze aan dat de rolluiken van de kamer omhoog waren en geforceerd, en dat het raam openstond. Later werd door de politie aangetoond dat met de rolluiken niets aan de hand was. De enige vingerafdruk die op het raam werd gevonden was van de moeder, Kate McCann. De McCanns en hun vrienden gaven daarna verschillende verklaringen over de verdwijning.

Weet je wat ik altijd zo irritant vind aan dit hele Maddie gebeuren? De kranten schreeuwen 1 keer in de zoveel tijd iets waardoor het lijkt alsof een oplossing voor handen is en vervolgens hoor je er niets meer van. Totdat de volgende roddel weer de wereld in geholpen wordt.

omdat ze geen idee hebben wat ze er mee moeten. De engelse politie is nu weer aan het graven op een stuk waar de Portugezen allang gekeken hebben. Maar de Engelsen vertouwen de Portugezen niet omdat die ooit stil hebben gestaan bij het feit dat heel veel aanwijzingen wezen naar de ouders. Veel vragen worden door hen niet beantwoord. De engelse politie stelt die vragen niet

Waarom is het voor de Engelse politie onmogelijk naar de rol van de ouders te kijken?

ik weet het niet, maar ze hebben vanaf het eerste moment dat ze opnieuw zijn gaan kijken naar de zaak heel hard van alle daken geschreeuwd dat de "ouders niet als mogelijke verdachte worden gezien".

Als je opnieuw kijkt naar een zaak moet je volgens mij alle opties openhouden anders begin je al in een tunnelvisie.

Maar de ouders aanwijzen als verdachte, sterker nog ze meenemen in het onderzoek zorgt in Engeland voor zoveel maatschappelijke onrust dat zelfs de politie zich er niet aan waagt.

En dit is een andere reden, iedereen die in UK durft te beweren dat de McCanns zelf iets te maken zouden hebben met de verdwijning, wordt meteen voor het gerecht gesleept, en dat kost een hoop geld!

Ik ook niet. Tenzij pa en ma eens écht gaan praten. Want die weten volgens mij heel goed wat er is gebeurd.



Ik heb zolangzamerhand vooral medelijden met de inwoners daar, want het hele toerisme wordt daar keer op keer de nek omgedraaid. Hen gun ik ook de oplossing van deze zaak, want ze worden er telkens ongewild in meegetrokken. Zij zien hun levenswerk kapot gemaakt worden omdat een stel rijke Britten met de juiste connecties het geen probleem vonden om hun kinderen alleen te laten.

En dat is precies zoals het is Mien. Als het een kind van een bijstandsmoeder was geweest had het even in het nieuws geweest en daarna weer vergeten. En die juiste connecties zorgen er dus tevens voor dat zij niet verdacht mogen worden (de ouders).

Ik heb toch een sterk vermoeden dat die ouders er iets mee te maken hebben.. Ik heb geen idee, maar het blijft toch knagen. Ik hoop echt dat Maddie weer boven water komt. Ookal lijkt me dat zeer onwaarschijnlijk..

Dus je baseert je vermoedens op werkelijk helemaal niets?

Er is een behoorlijk goed onderbouwd boek over geschreven.







De schrijver, Amaral was de coördinator van het Portugese onderzoek naar de verdwijning van Madeleine McCann



Volgens Amaral zal Madeleine nooit meer levend teruggevonden worden. Ze is volgens hem gestorven in het appartement waar de familie McCann op vakantie was. Het is zijn overtuiging dat het meisje niet vermoord is maar wel dat de ouders weten waar ze is.



Overigens wordt het boek in deze draad uitvoerig beschreven.

Slempie: Wat Hollebolle Gijs zegt. Er zijn best veel aanwijzingen die leiden naar de ouders. Ik denk dat ze er iets vanaf weten, zeker omdat de speurhonden lijklucht roken in het appartement en aansloegen bij bloedlucht achter de bank. Maar zeker weten zullen we misschien nooit, tot die tijd denk ik dat die ouders er meer vanaf weten dan dat wij denken. Maar kan er ook compleet naast zitten natuurlijk. Dit verhaal houd me al vanaf het begin af aan bezig.n

De ouders hebben meteen in het begin al gelogen. Ik snap echt niet dat ze er al die tijd mee wegkomen en beschermd worden en ook nog geld toe krijgen.

Below are some of the well known lies that have surfaced since this complex and confusing case had the whole world in its grasp on May 3rd 2007.

The tide is indeed turning with more and more of the general public becoming aware that they can't trust anything the McCanns or their friends say.

The lies are there for all to see. Why are these liars being protected? Is it because they are both doctors? Do they hold top secret information about someone in the Establishment?

Teresa May holds Top Secret files on the McCann’s which holds information that implicates them in the disappearance of Maddie. Apparently this information cannot be released for reasons of "National Security."

Here we have no less than 80 lies from the mouths of the McCanns and their friends, indeed there are many more, but why tell so many untruths in the search for your first born daughter?

1) Kate and Gerry said they never sedated the children but Kate placed medicines inside a bag with a clasp in her room inside the wardrobe or dresser. These medicines were Calpol (Paracetamol) and Nurofen (Ibuprofen) both for adults and children. There was also Omeprozole (For acidity) and Terfenadine (Antihistamine).

2) They lied when they said Maddie was abducted. There was no sign of a break-in.

3) Why did Kate say she slept in the spare bedroom because of Gerry's snoring yet in her statement 6 September 2007 she said she didn't know if Gerry had noticed and that she actually slept in the spare bedroom because he had ignored her after dinner when they went to the Tapas bar.

4) Gerry lied when he denied knowing Robert Murat, adding that he wished to make no further comment on the matter.

5) The McCann’s lied when they said they had already called the police, when in fact they weren't called for another forty minutes.

6) They lied when they said they arrived in Huelva at 12-15pm. A witness claimed to have seen the McCanns in the centre of Huelva, in their Renault Scenic hire car at 11-20am.

7) They lied about having Maddie's corpse in the hire car, even after a full match of her DNA was found there.

8) They lied when they said they would be transparent about the fund.

9) They lied about Bundleman.

10) Gerry later lied in his blog saying that the twins must like their new cots because they were both asleep by 7-30pm which was very unusual, and yet the twins were asleep by 7-30pm on the night of May 3rd allegedly.

11) Wilkins and Gerry or Tanner lied about that check when they were all in the same place but never saw each other yet the street they were all on is very narrow.

12)The McCann’s lied when they said they were all searching, when Kate and Gerry were on their phones until midnight and Jane Tanner said she knew nothing at all about Maddie’s disappearance until another friend knocked on her door.

13) They lied about Cuddlecat having the scent of Maddie and being comforting and then as soon as they heard the sniffer dogs were coming Kate announced she had washed it because it smelled of suntan lotion, making forensic analysis of it much harder.

14) They lied about the photos of Maddie used for the LQOK Campaign. The photos of her were a year out of date.

15) They lied about Maddie not having a toothbrush of her own. If she had, they would have had her saliva available for testing, this in turn could have revealed any drugs she may have been given.

16) Kate lied when she said they took the last photo of Maddie at 2-29pm on May 3rd. The image showed Maddie wearing a sunhat with beads in her hair laughing as she dangled her feet in the swimming pool at the Ocean Club resort. The timing device on the camera had shown the photo was taken at 1-29pm. The weather that day was cloudy, not brilliant sunshine as shown in the photo.

17) They lied about the checks on the children. Every hour first of all - then every half hour.

18) They lied about the distance from the apartment to the Tapas bar.

19) They lied about the 'abductor' entering through the window and then changed it to the patio doors.

20) They lied about the 90 minute tennis lesson with several versions of the story put out by official sources within the McCann camp.

21) Jane Tanner lied, changing her statements, arrival time at Tapas, direction of travel and checking times for the night of May 3rd.

22) They lied that they were performing the checks themselves (then it became known that other men in the group were also checking on the McCann children).

23) Gerry lied about injuring his achilles tendon saying that was why he couldn't play tennis on May 3rd. He was out jogging a few days later with Kate.

24) The McCann’s lied when they said they ate and drank every night at the Tapas bar, yet on May 2nd they ate at Chaplins which is a greater distance from the apartment. They were also contacted at Chaplins by a Mark Warner employee with regards to their children (specifically the McCann children) They had to return to the Mark Warner complex immediately.

25) They lied when they said Maddie vanished on the evening of May 3rd. There is no evidence to support Maddie being seen alive during May 3rd by anyone outside of the Tapas 9. Maddie was not present at the Creche or childrens club. She did not eat with the others and there is NO CCTV footage of her anywhere in the complex or Praia Da Luz at large beyond the afternoon of 2nd May.

26) They lied about not discussing the case and met with the Tapas 9 secretly in Rothley.

27) They lied that leaving three children all under four years old was not irresponsible.

28) They and at least one friend lied about Maddie's last meal on May 3rd.

29) They lied when they told everyone that the fund was to be a charity.

30) They lied about the film deal. When people became enraged at the idea they changed it to a documentary.

31) Gerry lied about his faith.

32) Kate lied when she said Maddie never woke up at all during the night on holiday, yet at home she would get up during the night with some regularity.

33) They lied when they said Maddie didn't cry for one hour and fifteen minutes (witnessed by Mrs Fenn) then Kate said Maddie must have cried before she and Gerry returned to the apartment. (Kate’s witness statement 6 sept 2007).

34) Gerry lied when he said Kate used the expression "We let her down." Kate said "They've taken her."

35) They lied about Maddie's coloboma saying it was quite prominent when it was only a mere fleck, according to Goncalo Amaral.

36) They lied when they said it felt so safe and then said they knew they were being watched.

37) Gerry lied when he asked for a priest claiming not to know where the church was.

38) Their friends lied about seeing Robert Murat there that night (incoming and outgoing phone records placed him constantly at home.

39) They lied that the door was locked and changed it to unlocked.

40) They lied about the crime scene, walked around and contaminated it, as did their friends, again making the investigation much harder and destroying much evidence according to detectives.

41) Gerry lied about the existence of the tennis bag.

42) Kate lied when she said she saw cuddlecat on a high shelf. (There was no high shelf).

43) They lied that cuddlecat was Maddie's favorite toy and then said that it was a present to be given to her on her fourth birthday.

44) They lied as to what time the police arrived on the scene.

45) They lied when they said they wouldn't do anything that would hinder the investigation.

46) They lied when they both said they would cooperate fully with the investigation.

47) Gerry lied when he said there was no way Maddie could have got out of bed and then said she must have wandered off.

48) They lied to friends, family and the media when they called them that night telling them of an abductor who had broken into their apartment.

49) Gerry and O'Brien have lied about their locations when holding a mobile phone call together on June 10th as verified by phone records and pinpointing.

50) Kate lied in a tv interview when she said she had discovered Maddie gone 'on one of my checks' it was the only check she made that night.

51) Kate lied to Mrs Fenn when she told her that the police had already been called.

52) The McCanns lied when they said they first to arrive at the Tapas bar on May 3rd. Rachel Oldfield claims they were the last to arrive.

53) They all lied about checks made after 9-30pm on May 3rd. Najova Chakaya who joined the Tapas 9 at the table at 9-30pm states nobody left the table at all until Kate went to check, calling all their statements into question.

54) They lied when they said the fund would help other missing children and their families.

55) Gerry lied about his checks on the children in the apartment, at first having claimed to have entered several rooms, then claiming the abductor must have been hiding in the apartment whilst he was there.

56) They lied when they said they would stay in Portugal until their daughter had been found.

57) They lied how everything had been so normal up until May 3rd when it is now known that Mark Warner staff had received complaints from other holidaymakers because of leaving their children on their own in the apartment crying and in distress. This also brought Mark Warner staff looking for the McCann’s on the night of 2nd May and insisting that they attend to their distressed children.

58) They lied when they said they would take a lie detector test.

59) They all lied about the amount of alcohol they drank that night.

60) They lied to the media, friends and family on the phone that night when they said nobody was doing anything when in fact, local people, holidaymakers and staff were helping in the search for Maddie whilst they stayed at the apartment.

61) They lied when they said that they were the ones that called the police when in fact is was Mark Warner.

62) They lied about who checked up on the children and at what times.

63) Kate lied about what Mrs Fenn had said. Kates words from her book:- Mrs Fenn (referred to as the lady upstairs) did enquire as to what all the noise was about and was informed a child was missing, she replied (according to Kate) ‘Is that all’ or something similar as if a can of beans was missing. Mrs Fenn leaning over her terrace wall asked Gerry what was happening, to which he replied that a small girl had been abducted.

64) They lied for months saying they were not suspects in the disappearance of their daughter and then were both made formal arguidos (suspects) under Portuguese law.

65) Kate lied when she said the scent of death found on cuddlecat was because she had taken Maddie’s 4th birthday present to work with her and it had come into contact with six dead bodies.

66) They lied when they said abductions like theirs (snatched sleeping from an apartment or hotel) happens a lot, they don’t.

67) They lied when they said they were going to learn Portuguese.

68) They lied about the fund not being used for their own personal use and then it paid a few instalments on their mortgage and lawyers.

69) They lied that it could not possibly be Maddie’s blood in the boot of the hire car. Then they took the vehicle out of circulation so that no further forensic tests could be carried out on it.

70) Tanner lied about when she gave Bundlemans details to the police (she changed the date).

71) They lied about Justine McGuiness and why she had left.

72) Matthew Oldfield lied about his check on the McCann children, changing his story not once, but twice.

73) They lied about returning to Portugal for questioning voluntarily and would only do so if their arguido status was lifted. They also appointed General Pinochet’s extradition fighting lawyers.

74) They lied to the local catholic priest (who then went on to claim that he was deceived by the McCann’s) and then they deserted him for the Anglican reverend instead and never ever took confession apparently.

75) They lied about the possibility of sedation and then claimed ridiculously that perhaps the abductor had sedated all three children before they made off with just Maddie.

76) Gerry lied about Kate’s ability to cope with three very young children on her own, when her parents and her own diary say different.

77) In another lie about cooperating, they refused to provide their mobile phone records to the PJ.

78) They lied when they said they could see the apartment clearly from where they were sat in the Tapas bar.

79) Kate lied about physically searching for Maddie but then admits not to have done so in a tv interview.

80) They lied when they said they didn’t clock up that many miles in the hire car. (It had clocked 500 miles in the first week of hire alone).

wat dacht je van al die vragen die de politie aan Kate stelde maar waarop ze nooit antwoord heeft willen geven? Hele relevante vragen zoals hoe het kon dat haar vingerafdrukken op de ramen stonden, hoe het kon dat de ramen van binnen uit open waren en niet zoals Kate zei "van buiten af"

waarom ze de voordeur namen terwijl de achterdeur gewoon open was. Waarom ze via de voordeur terugging naar de tapasbar na ontdekking van de verdwijning terwijl via de achterdeur de afstand veel korter was.

Waarom bleef ze niet in het huisje, als ze had geroepen had iedereen het kunnen horen.

Ik las het, volgens mij had hij geen beschuldiging mogen uiten, dus de slotconclusie had hij beter aan de lezer kunnen overlaten.

Overigens kan hij in hoger beroep.

Dit is te erg voor woorden, ze hebben al miljoenen verdient aan de verdwijning van hun kind (waar ze volgens mij zelf de hand in hebben gehad) en nu dit weer. Het was gewoon een politieonderzoek en volgens mij mogen die hun kant van het verhaal gewoon publiceren.



Maar ja, ze zijn vrienden van de Prime Minister.......!

Vreselijk stel, die ouders.



Op zulke momenten hoop je dat er een God is en ooit onomstotelijk duidelijk wordt wat er met dit arme kind is gebeurd, en waar ze is verborgen.
