It might be a good idea to subscribe to some English online communities. Maybe you can find something related to your major. That way, you'll improve not just your general knowledge of the language, but also the specific jargon you need for your studies.
Of course that doesn't mean you're not welcome to write in English here!

Ur is a horrible use of a ''word''. I also hate (with a capital H) the use of the word ''wud'' instead of ''would'' and sum(thing) instead of something.
